The short version: PiShare Video collects nothing. Your videos never leave your phone. The app has no accounts, no ads, and no analytics.

What PiShare Video does

PiShare Video compresses videos entirely on your device. You pick a video, the app makes it smaller, and you save or share the result. All processing happens locally on your phone.

What we collect

Nothing. PiShare Video does not collect, store, transmit, or share any data — no personal information, no usage analytics, no crash reports, no advertising identifiers, and no device identifiers.

Your videos

Your videos are never uploaded. The app reads the video you choose only to compress it on your device, and writes the compressed result back to your device. We cannot see, receive, or store your videos or their file names.

Permissions

• Choosing a video uses Android’s system photo picker, which needs no broad storage permission.
• Saving to your gallery asks for permission only when you tap Save, and only to write the compressed file. You can decline and still share the result.

No accounts, ads, or tracking

PiShare Video has no sign-in or accounts, shows no ads, and contains no advertising or analytics tracking. There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is collected.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. Because it collects no data, it collects no data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date. The app collects nothing today; any future change that would collect data would be announced here — and in the app — before it takes effect.
